Market manager - Sarah Benson
our Board
The San Juan Island Farmers Market Association has a five-member board of directors, elected by association members at their annual membership meeting. Current board members are:
President - Sandy May, tigercello farm
Sandy has been president of the board since 2018. Sandy has been active in growing local food since moving to San Juan Island in 2012 with her husband and two children. On San Juan Island she manages Tigercello Farm, which is a Family Farm dedicated to 'beyond organic, absolutely gourmet' vegetables, fruit and eggs. With the abundance provided by the garden, she is able to provide produce to the farmers market, local restaurants and the food bank. Sandy is a Master Gardener and is an active board member of Master Gardener Foundation of San Juan Island.

Secretary - Tate Brumsickle
Bobby Ryan
Bobby Ryan loves spending time in his gardens, arranging flowers for his driveway flower stand and exploring the yard with his kitty, Neptune. Having started visiting SAN JUAN ISLAND 18 years ago with his husband, they became full time residents in 2015. He cherishes the spaciousness of the rural landscape and enjoys eating breakfasts in his car at Jackson's Beach. In 2021, Bobby started his business, Inspired Earth Tea. Each of his teas includes ingredients grown or foraged on the island. Blending and brewing unique teas nourishes his body and soul and he delights in sharing these gifts. Find him at his farmers market booth each weekend - he'd love to talk tea with you!

You'll find Bill with sons Joe and Sam serving up sweet and savory pastry, pizza, and focaccia by the slice, sourdough breads and bagels along with a little bakery banter.
