Market manager - elena Porten

Picture
Elena has been market manager since 2016. She has been interested in local food since as a kid growing up on San Juan Island. Her first job was working at Thirsty Goose Farm picking tomatoes. After graduating from Spring Street International School, she lived in Seattle for seven years and graduated from Seattle University. Elena has worked at several farms, farm-to-table restaurants  and organizations that support healthy and sustainable local agriculture systems. Elena has always loved the whole cycle of food: from farming, to cooking, to consuming and savoring.
